Steps to add a page border on Google Docs
- Step 1: Open Google Docs, click Insert > Drawing > New.
- Step 2:
- Go to Shape > Choose a rectangle, draw it vertically.
- Click on the color bucket, change the color to transparent.
- Change color of the border.
- Change the line style on the box next to it.
- Step 3:
- Click Save and Close, adjust the size of the shape to make it fit perfectly.
- Set the shape to behind text.
- Set the shape to a fix position.
Result: The page has a new custom border.
Tips: You can duplicate the page to make multiple pages like the first one.
