Steps to add motion blur effect in Premiere Pro
- Step 1: Open your project in Premiere Pro, then right-click on the Project panel.
- Step 2: Select New Item > Adjustment Layer, then click OK.
- Step 3: Drag the adjustment layer above your video on the timeline.
- Step 4: In the Effects panel, search for
Transform
, then drag the Transform effect onto the adjustment layer.
- Step 5: Go to the Effect Controls panel. Under Transform, set a keyframe for
Scale
at its original value (e.g., 100%).
- Step 6: Uncheck the Use Composition Shutter Angle box, and set Shutter Angle to
360
.
- Step 7: Play the video a bit forward, then add another
Scale
keyframe with the value 300
.
- Step 8: Select both keyframes, right-click and choose Ease In for smoother animation.
- Step 9: Adjust the keyframe curve to create a peak effect in the graph editor, mimicking the zoom motion.
Result: The video turns much smoother with Motion Blur effect.
