Steps to adjust audio track volume in Premiere Pro
- Step 1: Open a video with audio in
Premiere Pro.
- Step 2: Right-click on the audio track located below the video layer that you want to adjust.
- Step 3: Select
Audio Gain from the context menu.
- Step 4: In the Audio Gain window, choose one of the following options:
- Option 1: Select the first box, then type a specific number.
Use a negative value to reduce volume or a positive number to increase it.
(Example: -5 to lower the volume, +5 to raise it)
- Option 2: Select the second box and drag the slider left or right.
Drag to the left to reduce the volume
Drag to the right to increase the volume
Result: The volume of the selected audio track will be adjusted according to your input, allowing for better sound balance in your project.
