Steps to clear history on Safari
- Step 1: Open Settings → scroll to the bottom of the screen → tap Apps.
- Step 2: Tap the search bar → search Safari.
- Step 3: Scroll down → select Clear History and Website Data (you can choose a clear timeframe; if you have profiles set up, you can clear history for all profiles or a single profile like Personal; you can also choose to close all tabs that aren't in a tab group).
- Step 4: Tap Clear History.
Result: Your Safari browsing history, website data, and optionally all open tabs (outside of tab groups) are deleted, either for all profiles or a specific one, depending on your selection.
Tip: Clearing history regularly can help improve Safari’s performance and protect your privacy.
