Steps to combine first and last names in Excel

• Step 1: Select the cell where you want the full name to appear, then type the formula =CONCATENATE(cell1, " ", cell2)
  (Example: =CONCATENATE(A2, " ", B2))
• Step 2: Make sure cell1 contains the first name and cell2 contains the last name. The " " adds a space between them.
• Step 3: Press Enter to apply the formula.

Result: Excel will return a full name by combining the first and last names with a space in between.

Tip: In modern Excel versions, you can use =A2 & " " & B2 as a simpler alternative to CONCATENATE.
