Steps to crop on Canva

• Step 1: Open Canva then go to your project.
• Step 2: On the toolbar on the left side, select Uploads to insert your image.
• Step 3: Drag and Drop the picture into your slide.
• Step 4: Click on the image → select Edit photo → choose Crop → in the crop settings, click the arrow icon to choose an aspect ratio (e.g., 1:1) → selecting an aspect ratio like 1:1 will lock the ratio and allow you to scale the image proportionally.

Result: Your image is now cropped with the selected aspect ratio, maintaining a consistent scale while adjusting the size.
Tip: Use Freeform if you want complete flexibility in cropping without locking any proportions.
