Wi-Fi icon if needed to go online, then open the Google Drive app.three-dot icon, choose Remove, and confirm by tapping Move to Trash.top right menu icon, choose Remove, and confirm by selecting Move to Trash.top left menu icon, go to Trash, select the file again, and tap Delete forever to permanently remove it.Result: The selected file will first be moved to Trash and can be permanently deleted if needed, freeing up storage in your Google Drive.
Tip: Files in Trash are automatically deleted after 30 days, but you can delete them manually anytime to clear space immediately.
