Steps to delete the account on Facebook by phone

• Step 1: Tap the Profile button → Select the Gear icon (Settings) → Choose See more in Accounts Center.
• Step 2: Scroll down to Personal Details → Tap Account Ownership and Control.
• Step 3: Tap Deactivation or Deletion → Choose Delete Account → Tap Continue and keep tapping Continue on each screen.
• Step 4: When asked for a reason, select “I no longer find Facebook useful” → Tap Continue several times → Enter your password when prompted → Tap Delete Account to confirm.

Result: Your Facebook account will be scheduled for permanent deletion. You’ll have a limited time to cancel the request in case you change your mind.

Tip: Make sure to download any data or photos you want to keep before deleting your account.
