Steps to disable end-to-end encryption on Messenger

• Step 1: Open Messenger, tap the Menu icon, then the Settings icon.
• Step 2: Tap Privacy & safety.
• Step 3: Select End-to-end encrypted chats, then go to Message storage.
• Step 4: Tap Turn off secure storage, then confirm by tapping Turn off.
• Step 5: Finally, tap Delete secure storage to permanently remove it.

Result: Your end-to-end encrypted messages will no longer be stored securely, and any previously stored messages will be permanently deleted from secure storage.

Tip: Make sure to back up any important conversations before deleting secure storage, as this action cannot be undone.
