Steps to divide in Excel

Step 1: In a blank cell, type the formula using the division symbol: =A / B, where A and B are the numbers or cell references you want to divide.
(Example: =A1 / B1)
Step 2: Press Enter to calculate.

Result: Excel will return the quotient of the two values.

Tip: If the divisor (B) is 0, Excel will return a #DIV/0! error. Always check to avoid dividing by zero.
