Steps to fill down in Google Sheets

• Step 1: Enter a value into any cell.
• Step 2: Move your cursor to the bottom-right corner of that cell until you see a small + (plus sign), then click and drag down to copy the value vertically, or drag sideways to copy the value horizontally.

Result: The value will be duplicated across the selected range, either down a column or across a row, depending on the direction you drag.

Tip: Hold Ctrl (on Windows) or Option (on Mac) while dragging to create a pattern or sequence instead of just copying the same value.
