Steps to find duplicates values in Excel

• Step 1: Select the cells that you want to check for duplicates.
• Step 2: Go to the Home tab, then click Conditional Formatting, navigate to Highlight Cells Rules, and choose Duplicate Values.

Result: All duplicate values in the selected range will be automatically highlighted for easy identification.

To remove duplicates: Go to the Data tab → click Remove Duplicates → choose the relevant columns → click OK. Excel will remove all duplicates, keeping only the first unique value in each case.

Tip: You can also customize the formatting style—such as using a different color—when the duplicates are highlighted.
