Steps to get transcript of YouTube video
- Step 1: In YouTube, click the video you want.
- Step 2: Click three-dot icon and select Show transcript.
- Step 3: The transcript panel will appear; then click three-dot icon and click Toggle timestamps.
- Step 4: Select the transcript, drag to highlight, then right-click and select Copy.
- Step 5: Paste it anywhere you want.
Tip: Removing timestamps can make the transcript easier to read.
