Steps to rasterize a layer in Photoshop
- Step 1: Open Photoshop, then go to your project.
- Step 2: Right-click on the layer you want to rasterize → choose Rasterize Layer.
Result: The selected layer is converted into a regular pixel-based layer, allowing you to apply filters and make direct pixel edits.
Tip: Rasterizing a text or smart object layer will make it uneditable in its original form, so duplicate it first if needed.
