Steps to record the MacBook screen

• Step 1: Press Shift + Command + 5 to open the screenshot and screen recording toolbar.
• Step 2: Click the middle tab on the toolbar to record the entire screen, or select the tab on the right to record a specific portion.
• Step 3: Click Record to begin the screen recording.
• Step 4: When you're finished, click the stop button in the menu bar to end the recording.

Result: You have successfully recorded your screen on a MacBook, and the video is automatically saved to your Desktop.

Tip: Use the Options menu on the toolbar to choose where to save the file or set a timer before recording starts.
