Steps to remove a shortcut on Google Drive

Step 1: Open Google Drive and tap on My Drive.
Step 2: In the file view, filter or scroll to the Type column and select Shortcuts.
Step 3: To remove a shortcut, either click Remove shortcut directly, or tap the three-dot icon and select Move to trash.

Result: The selected shortcut will be removed from your Drive without affecting the original file or folder it points to.

Tip: Removing a shortcut does not delete the actual file—only the quick access link is removed.
