Steps to remove leading zeros in Excel

• Step 1: Type the number 1 into any empty cell, then copy it using Ctrl + C.
• Step 2: Highlight the range of cells that contain numbers with leading zeros.
• Step 3: Right-click the selected range, choose Paste Special, then select Multiply and click OK.

Result: All leading zeros will be removed, leaving only the numeric values.

Tip: This method works best when the values are stored as numbers, not text. Use Text to Columns if needed to convert text to numbers before applying it.
