Steps to request access on Google Drive 

• Step 1: Open Google Drive and navigate to the file or folder you want to access.
• Step 2: Right-click the item and select Request access.

Result: A request will be sent to the file owner, who can choose to grant you view, comment, or edit permissions.

Tip: You can add a message when requesting access to explain why you need it — this often increases your chances of approval.
