Steps to share your location on iPhone

• Step 1: Make sure that your location services are turned on → open Settings → go to Privacy → choose Location Services → turn on Location Services.
• Step 2:
  Option 1: Using Messages: Go to the conversation with the person you want to share your location with → tap the top of the screen (which includes the person’s avatar) → tap Send My Current Location.
  Option 2: Using Contacts app: Find the person you want to share your location with → tap on the contact → tap Share My Location → choose from (Share Indefinitely, Share Until End of Day, or Share for One Hour).
  Option 3: Using Google Maps: Tap on the blue dot; if you don’t see it, tap the white arrow in the lower right to center your position on the map → once the blue dot is visible, tap it → in the pop-up menu, select Share Your Location → choose how long you want to share your location → select the contacts and tap Share → the sharing timer will start. You can stop sharing anytime by selecting Stop.
  Option 4: Using Apple Maps: Look for the blue dot indicating your current location; if you don’t see it, tap the arrow in the  upper-right corner → tap the blue dot → in the pop-up menu at the bottom, select Share → choose the Messages conversation or app you want to use → a link will be generated that you can share with your contact or app of choice.

Result: Your current location will be successfully shared through the selected app, allowing others to see where you are in real time or for the duration you chose.

Tip: To stop location sharing at any time, revisit the app or location-sharing menu and select the option to stop or disable sharing.
