Steps to Stop a File Upload in Google Drive

• Step 1: Click the New button in the top left corner, then select File upload.
• Step 2: In the file browser, choose a file from your device and click Open to begin uploading.
  The upload progress will appear at the bottom right of your screen.
• Step 3: To stop the upload, click the small X icon or the Cancel button next to the uploading file.

Result: The selected file will be removed from the upload queue and will not be saved to your Google Drive.

Tip: If the upload has already completed, deleting the file manually from Drive is the only way to remove it.
