Steps to sum a column in Google Sheets

Step 1: Select any cell where you want the result to appear.
Step 2: Type the SUM function as =SUM(, then select the column or range you want to calculate.
Close the parentheses and press Enter.

Result: The selected cell will display the total sum of all values in the specified column or range.

Tip: You can also press Alt + = (Windows) or Command + Shift + T (Mac) as a shortcut to auto-sum a range.
