Steps to transfer your data on iPhone

Before you start, make sure your previous device is nearby, backed up to iCloud, connected to Wi-Fi, has Bluetooth turned on, and both devices are plugged in and charging. Also, ensure your previous device is updated to the latest version of iOS.

Option 1: Transfer using iCloud and your previous iPhone

• Step 1: After you turn on your new iPhone, follow the prompts until the Quick Start screen appears.
• Step 2: Place your previous iPhone near your new one → follow the steps on your previous device → continue on your new iPhone when prompted.
• Step 3: On your new device, enter the passcode that unlocks your previous device → follow the onscreen prompts until the Transfer Your Data screen appears → tap Download from iCloud to begin transferring → if asked to review and accept the terms and conditions, tap Agree.
• Step 4: Follow the prompts; a loading bar will appear when your device begins restoring your information from iCloud.

Option 2: Transfer directly from your previous iPhone

• Step 1: After you turn on your new iPhone, follow the prompts until the Quick Start screen appears.
• Step 2: Place your previous iPhone near your new one → follow the steps on your previous device → continue on your new iPhone when prompted.
• Step 3: On your new device, enter the passcode that unlocks your previous device → follow the onscreen prompts until the Transfer Your Data screen appears → tap Transfer from iPhone, then tap Agree and your device will begin transferring.

Option 3: Transfer using an iCloud backup

• Step 1: After you turn on your new iPhone, follow the prompts until the Quick Start screen appears.
• Step 2: Tap Set Up Without Another Device and continue following the prompts.
• Step 3: On the Transfer Your Apps & Data screen, choose From iCloud Backup → follow the prompts and tap Agree.
• Step 4: Choose your most recent iCloud backup from your previous iPhone → follow the prompts → your device will begin restoring.

Result: Your new iPhone will be set up with the apps, settings, and data from your previous device, either directly or via iCloud, allowing for a seamless transition.

Tip: Keep both devices connected to power and Wi-Fi throughout the process to avoid interruptions or data loss.
