Steps to check word count on Google Docs

• Step 1: Open Google Docs, select the range of paragraph you want to count the words.
• Step 2: Click Tools > Word Count.

Result: You can see the number of words and characters of the selected paragraph.

Tips: The latest Google Docs version has word count box while typing, check the box and it will appear on the bottom left corner of the file.
